Line-by-line
This mode allows you to collect detailed information about the processes that perform essential calculations and limiting system performance by looking at the details in each row. You can specify which processes you are going to start profiling or profiling of all processes where dotTrace can locate symbol information.
Remote
dotTrace 4.0 Professional Edition can connect to a remote computer profiling standalone or online application service or Windows. You do not need to install dotTrace on the remote machine - run automatically. Sometimes during profiling you notice that your application is slow or freezes. You remember that you forgot to disable debug mode, then you must re-profiled.
