Setup is painless. First of all MailWasher imports your existing email settings so you can check your mail with MailWasher. At the same time your contacts will be imported so a friends list can created.

Then you're on the way. MailWasher will check your email accounts, show you what email is waiting for you and attempt to categorize it in to good and spam email. MailWasher might need a bit of help with the spam and good classifications to begin with, but pretty soon it will do all the work for you.
